Facebook pays you $ 120 to disable your account for a month! Do you accept it
Imagine that you are able to earn money for something as simple as temporarily stopping using your Facebook account.
As indicated in The New York Post, the social network plans to pay up to $ 120 to some social network members to deactivate their Instagram or Facebook accounts since the end of September. Reason? Checking whether user content affects in any way the US presidential election in November.
Don't think Facebook will pay you for the simple fact of stopping using your account and nothing more. A spokeswoman for the company indicated a few days ago that she had asked the volunteers to participate in the program, saying that "anyone who chooses to participate, either by completing opinion polls or deactivating his account on Instagram or Facebook for a period of time, will be compensated."
The company estimates that between 200,000 and 400,000 people will decide to participate in this program. Once the necessary data is available, an independent group of researchers will conduct a study with the aim of determining the influence of Facebook on the political decisions of the population.
Everything indicates that this measure will only be implemented in the United States at the beginning, and that users of both social networks from the rest of the regions do not rule out that Facebook in the future will undertake such initiatives.
